www.alz.org  The Alzheimer’s Association offers a caregivers’ message board for tips and emotional support, and Lotsa Helping Hands, a free private group calendar that helps volunteer caregivers, friends, and family coordinate caregiving duties.  Listing of local chapters.

www.alzfdn.org  The Alzheimer’s Foundation offers informative, free quarterly “CareADvantage” magazine for caregivers and free teleconferences on Thursday evenings discussing caregiving or dementia related subjects.  Website offers caregiver support and behavioral strategies as well. 

www.caringinfo.org  Caring Connections is a program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.  It provides resources and information to help people make decisions about end-of-life care and services before a crisis, including a free multilingual helpline.

www.elderlawanswers.com is loaded with helpful information and features including Elder Law 101, Questions and Answers, and Find An Attorney.  Many of the listed attorneys are certified by the National Elder Law Foundation, an American Bar Association certifying organization.

www.mentalhealthamerica.org  Formerly the National Mental Health Association,  Mental Health America provides a website filled with resources for support, education, and advocacy for people with mental illness .  Includes a link for the MHA in New Jersey.

www.napgcm.org  The website of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers provides helpful information on the profession, typical services,  credentials, and how to choose a geriatric care manager.
